This course will cover child and infant CPR and First Aid procedures. Also includes proper child supervision, safety walk-through, choking hazards, water hazards, SIDS awareness, handwashing, feeding an infant and a child, burping, diapering, removing gloves, handling a crying baby, recognizing an emergency, personal safety, head / neck injuries and when to call 911.
This course is recommended for ages 8 – 16 years old, or anyone who is interested in babysitting.
Once the course is completed the student will receive their certification card valid for 2 years.
